- GIANTS SIGN FORMER EAGLES DT MIKE PATTERSON - The New York Giants have signed former Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Mike Patterson, Mike Garafolo of USA Today is reporting.
Patterson joins another former Eagles defensive tackle, Cullen Jenkins, on the Giants. They were both cut on the same day in late February due to salary cap issues.
Patterson played in 99 games for the Eagles during his eight seasons and had 16 ½ sacks. But his career nearly ended in the summer of 2011 when he suffered a seizure during training camp. He eventually needed surgery to remove an arteriovenous malformation from his brain in January, 2012.

Now it’s time to remind the world. In the “Hill & Schlereth” poll on ESPN Radio, the University of Oregon has entered the finals and currently maintain a lead over the University of North Carolina for the “Best Uniforms in Sports” tournament. Our goal as the Oregon student section: blow the competition out of the water.
